Catering Prices and Packages
Shopping for a caterer could be a frustrating experience. Most catering companies in San Diego don’t post any pricing information on their website, encouraging you to call them. At TOAST, our goal is to make your catering experience as easy and pleasant as possible. Starting from the shopping process, to the event planning, etc. Although in most cases, we work directly with our customers and custom design their menu, we believe that the following catering packages would help you determine how much you are about to spend on your next catering event in San Diego! Please note that the following prices is based on 50 guests and don’t include rentals (tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, flatware, etc.), labor fee, service charge and taxes. We have also included an estimate on rentals to further help you calculate your catering cost.

CATERING PACKAGE
Guests will be greeted with beautiful flower decorated trays playing host to a variety of mini-culinary creations. Please choose four items from our hors d’oeuvre selections to accompany your meal.
The following selection may be adapted to plated meal service for an additional fee. All entrées include your choice of salad, vegetable, side dish, fresh baked bread and butter. Prices are based on 50 guests minimum.

Rentals:
Rental cost is calculated on a case by case basis. It usually starts around $14 per person and can go higher than $30 depending on your needs. Plated dinner service usually increases the cost of rentals, since more china and flatware is being used. Other services such as bar service, coffee service and dessert can increase your rental budget. Some other factors that can increase the cost of rentals are belly bar tables (cocktail tables), if a stove/oven is available on site to cook the food and the delivery and pickup time for the rentals. Most venues require that all rental items be picked up the night of the event. Rental companies in San Diego charge over $170 for late pick-up (after 10:00 pm).
